Katsuhiro Harada, who is producer of the TEKKEN series of fighting, recently provided a contribution when a fan took care of the PS2 games lost for a long time. Instant Mayhem asked for potential Xenosaga HD Collection for Modern Consoles, and Harada provided a surprise response. Unfortunately, it's not exactly the fans expected to hear.

It has actually progressed towards the remill, but failed in a profitable market analysis, Hada explained. Specific details have not been provided, but it seems that Bandai Namco has not seen the series gain enough money to cover development and promotion costs.

Sorry guys, Harada continued. This plan will be difficult to redo there ...

These unconditional fans had asked questions about the original xenosaga games making a return after the success of Xenoblade_ Series'chronics. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 has been a huge success on the Nintendo Switch; and a definitive version of the original Chronics should arrive on the platform in 2020. (Monolith Soft is the development team of both series.)

Harada later explained that we still analyze the global market, so that research was not limited to a single market, such as the United States or Japan.

This does not mean that Bandai Namco turns his back on his classic franchises. The company has filed a series of brands in September, suggesting that dormant franchises such as klonoa, splatterhouse and others might come back. However, nothing has been formalized yet.

Xenosaga Original games stay available on PlayStation 2. Just make sure you bring a lot of money, such as the last entries in the series are not cheap.
