A famous London arcade hall definitely closes its doors after 25 years

While there is only one month to survey the escalators of the famous Sega Ikebukuro hall, our neighbors of course have been crying from Namco Funscape, an arcade and entertainment hall. installed for a quarter of a century on the edge of the Thames river.

Thank You for Playing

13 Superhero Characters Who've Lifted Thor's Hammer Located opposite the Westminster Palace and the no less famous London Eye, Namco Funscape has ceased his activity this Friday, August 12th at 6:30 pm, after having welcomed no less than 50 million visitors according to the estimates of the Arcade Heroes site. The place managers obviously split a farewell message:

After 25 years, London's main entertainment place, located in the emblematic building of County Hall, closed. We are devastated for this historic site that entertained families, friends and businesses around the world for 25 years ???? We look forward to seeing you again in another Namco place and thank you for these amazing memories!

But with 12 tracks of bowlings and an area dedicated to virtual reality (including the famous Mario Kart VR that your servant hopes always try), the room is not to add to the long list of victims of a certain crowned virus . No, if Namco Funscape stops his activity, it's because the London County Hall, which is next door, needs room to expand his own entertainment activities. Hosting the Aquarium Sea Life or the Shrek's Adventure attraction, his madness of grandeur will have been right for neighboring bounds.

That gives a glimpse to a hope when in the future of this room ideally located, and obviously gives us very want to put your feet in the London capital. Not you ?
