Discover the first images of the Mortal Kombat movie

The new Combat Mortal movie is supposed to be finished a while ago. Since then, its release date has changed a lot, being pushed back and forth. Today was supposed to be his debut at some point. Unfortunately, Covid-19 has occurred and everything derailed. Our last update on the film goes back last month, when the new release date was communicated to us on April 15th. Today, Entertainment Weekly has published a handful of new spanking images from the movie brand to feast on our Earth realm eyes.

In these images, we see several emblematic characters from Mortal Kombat animated by the new distribution. One of the first images is Joe Ta slim and Hirobumi Canada playing respectively Sub-Zero and Scorpion, with Sub-Zero plunging a lunar in Scorpion. Another image (above) Watch Lewis Tan in the role of Cole Young, a Failed MMA fighter taking part in a match. We also see images of Sub-Zero evoking an ice weapon, Meh cad Brooks in the role of Tax (resembled Steve Harvey), fighting against a big enemy, and Audi Lin and Tadanobu Asana in the role of him King and Maiden Seamless. There is also a scene where Jessica Manatee as Sonya Blade fight Josh Lawson as Kano, a bit like they did in the 1995 Mortal Kombat film.

EW s article also gives us an overview of the plot, where all Earth realm fighters carry a strange birthplace, which is supposed to be related to the history of the film. Mortal Kombat should go out on HBO Max and in theaters on April 16th.
