NVIDIA launches the GeForce RTX 3090 IT

NVIDIA has announced the launch of the GeForce RTX 3090 IT, the new most powerful graphic card of consumption in the world.

With a price of 1,999 dollars (amounting to € 2,249 in Europe), RTX 3090 IT is a variant of the GPU GA102 of the American Company, with a frequency increase in the processor (1560MHz Base and 1860MHz Boost) and in the Memory that allows you to reach the 40 power teraphlops and a 21Gbps bandwidth. There is also a small increase in the amount of CUDA nuclei, which happen to be 10,496 at RTX 3090 to 10,752 in RTX 3090 IT.

All this translates into an increase in yield of around 7%, according to the first benchmarks. The price to be paid, however, is high: not only at the cost level (€ 600 more than the RTX 3090, with a recommended price of € 1,649), but also in the energy consumption, which goes up from 350W to 450W with the New graphics card

The usual partners of Nvidia, such as Asus, Colorful, Avga, Gainward, Galax, Gigabyte, Inno3d, MSI, Palit, PNY or ZOTAC, have already confirmed that they will launch Custom versions of this new GPU. In the absence of knowing more details, however, it is very likely that its models are more expensive than that of Nvidia.

The GeForce RTX 3090 Ti can already be purchased at the NVIDIA online store, and it is expected to be the last card that uses Ampere architecture, which will give way to the Lovelace architecture.
