BVB: Julian Brandt sees himself critically

BVB promoted Julian Brandt was only partially satisfied with his own shape curve.

"That could have been a bit earlier," said Borussia Dortmund's match winner after the 3-1 against relegated Greuther Fürth about his performance development.

The figures of the national soccer player, who is only a replacement candidate for the World Cup in Qatar, sound good at first. With his double pack against the Franks, Brandt increased his goal account to nine this season. He hired his personal season record from his time at Bayer Leverkusen 2015/16 and 2017/18.

However, the fine spirit with BVB was particularly disappointing internationally. The 26-year-old offensive player admitted the perfect vice championship since Saturday.

Coach Marco Rose was satisfied with Brandt's performance. "He did it excellently," praised the Dortmund coach. "He has a high standing with me as a trainer and in the club."

Brandt has also had two difficult years with a total of only six Bundesligators in Dortmund. "He knows exactly what may not have happened in the past year," Rose remarked. "He also knows what he can improve. He still has potential, air up, we will work on that.BVB promoted Julian Brandt was only partially satisfied with his own shape curve.
